Here in California the camel spiders are common - disgusting, but common. It’s not unusual to find one as big as my thumb crawling across the laundry room floor in the summer. The kids discovered (by accident) if you put one in a jar and shake it vigorously - they EXPLODE!

I live in New Mexico, and we’ve only seen them for the past 2 yrs.
I have 2 infants and a 5yr. old…I’m not at all a fan of these nasty bugs, my question is, how do I get rid of them before one of them gets bit. The infants are almost to the crawling stage and you know how it is, always putting things in their mouth. Please can you help???
